Fast WiFi, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with bunk beds, fan, and A/C. Helpful staff, especially the kind volunteer at the front desk. Perfect location in the main area, close to amenities and the pier. Would highly recommend this place!

Stayed 2 nights before and after doing the Gibbon Experience and would highly recommend. Nok, the hostess, was amazing and helped with buying tickets, ordering meals, doing laundry. She made us feel at home and went above and beyond. The beds were comfy with outlets and curtains. The bathrooms were simple but had hot showers and fresh towels. Great breakfast and convenient water refill station. Well-located in the town center.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms that had private curtains and lights for each bunk. The location was perfect, right opposite the Gibbon Experience office, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The room was great value for money and very comfortable. The location was perfect, right across the street from the Gibbon Experience office. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for my journey.
The only slight downside was that the breakfast could be improved. The morning meal could have had more variety or options.

Staff was friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Their English was amazing and they answered all my questions. Rooms were clean and comfortable with spacious bunk beds, fan, and AC for the night time. The common area was cozy and provided a great space for meals and relaxing. They had a delicious breakfast and made excellent take-away meals for the Mekong boat ride. The showers had good water pressure and there were mosquito nets on the windows. The hostel had a cupboard selling/renting key items needed for the Gibbon Experience. The location was central and convenient for exploring the city, with tuk-tuks and amenities nearby. The hostel had a friendly pet dog named Chicken.
There were minor issues with the room, such as a mosquito and stuffy air due to a faulty window mechanism. Some noise from the kitchen/service yard could be heard, potentially disrupting sleep.

The location of the hostel is fantastic with plenty of places to eat and shop right outside the property. The staff are very helpful and accommodating, providing assistance with organizing bus tickets, transportation, and even installing a new SIM card. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with amenities such as curtains around the beds, electric plugs, and small lockers. Additionally, the food served at the hostel is delicious, and the cleanliness of the facilities, including the bathrooms.
Some aspects of the hostel, such as the air conditioning in the rooms and the cleanliness of the bathrooms, could use improvement.

Cosy, clean, and relaxed hostel with a large comfortable common area for meals and chilling. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Two dorm rooms with four beds each and two toilets/showers. Good water pressure in the showers. Windows with mosquito netting and fans in each room. Delicious breakfast and decent coffee. Cupboard selling/renting key items for the Gibbon Experience. Pet dog named Chicken hanging around.
Felt like visiting family, no reason to complain.

We absolutely loved staying at this cozy hostel in town after our boat trip from Luang Prabang. Noke, the owner, was not just a hostel owner but also felt like a roommate to us. We enjoyed watching Netflix and chilling with her. the living room was a great space for us to do some work. Noke even arranged a fantastic tour to a waterfall for a very affordable price. the hostel had sustainable practices such as a drinking water system and reusable towels. It was clean, the breakfast was good, and Noke helped us with everything, including arranging the slow boat for us. we felt at home and would have loved to stay longer.
We felt so comfortable and at home at this hostel that we honestly can't think of any reason to complain. It felt like relaxing at our own place, just perfect.

I had such a great experience staying at this hostel in Ban Houayxay. Little Hostel was the perfect location for me as it was right across the road from where I booked my boat for the Gibbon Experience. The staff, particularly the two friendly girls, were incredibly helpful. They not only booked my boat but also helped me set up a SIM card when my phone was acting up. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and I even got upgraded to a private room at no extra cost. The hostel had a nice atmosphere and the bathrooms were clean. I also appreciated being able to shower there after my jungle hike, even though I wasn't staying the night. I highly recommend staying at Little Hostel.

The bathrooms were simple but clean, with hot showers and fresh towels. The hostel also offered a water refill station and a tasty breakfast option for a small fee. I would definitely return to this cute and welcoming hostel.
